And don’t we all know that we’re all just “grown-up” bigger versions of the examples she offers!I particularly like the parts that bring out how we can “good, better, or best” respond in various situations with specific examples. From these, we can broaden the application to many other areas of our day-to-day relationships. For example, by listening, understanding, truly respecting others (no matter their age), & responding well.Further, the author shows we reduce feelings of guilt & shame by these responses--not only those we relate with, but also in our own self. By choosing options A, B, or C, & avoiding option D, we can bring out the best self of others as well as our own best self. Great book, highly recommend for all "people" situations!
