It is made with real wood and it's sturdy. It has some flaws too. For example, Mani the wood base and the metallic mesh are not aligned. It looks a little off but it doesn't bother me.Love these! Natural wood base with black metal sides. They are low profile but full of style. Wish the cord was a bit longer, but nothing that an extension cord cannot fix. Overall, super great value.Great night light!It arrived with crooked bulb socket. When you screw bulb in it sits on a corner.I wasn't thrilled with general quality too. I returned it.
