To be honest I set up the Amazon subscription (every 6 months) only to get the discount and I was going to cancel it before it reordered. I'm pretty cheap if I'm not sure about a product. I ended up not only purposely keeping the subscription but I also have ordered it between deliveries and I'm going to need to up the amount to every 3 months. I have a cat who has a seizure every 2-4 weeks and she loses control of her bladder. She's always asleep when they happen and since she sleeps with me she almost always has them on either the couch or my bed. I just grab the spray and cover the area well then wash the bedding and/or couch cover. About a week ago I had to clean the cat tree. That same cat had peed on the bottom shelf when she got a UTI (yes she gets sick often) and I had scrubbed the bottom shelf with soap and tons of water but as I was using a wet vac to suck up the water I got an unmistakable whiff of cat urine. I went to get the spray and sprayed it with a nice thick layer and then vacuumed it out. The smell was gone. It did better than 20 minutes of scrubbing with soap. It's worth the money, even if you are cheap. It's a good value. It comes with multiple layers of protection against leaks during shipping. The scent isn't overpowering (cuz it's eliminating the smell not covering it with a different one.) The only complaint I have is I can't get the spray top off (it locks on) to get the last bit of it or to get refills of it but that's just a tiny annoyance.Our dog started peeing on our throw rugs after her buddy passed away, almost daily - and an occasional poop…then we brought in a kitten that went for the couch and bed on a couple occasions. Ever since spraying this, there have been NO accidents in the house - going on 2 weeks! ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️I've tried other brands. This one seems to work the best. Follow the instructions and it'll get the job done. One of my cats kept urinating in the same spot until I used this. Works well on smelly shoes, too.My only complaint is the cap on the bottle. It leaks when I pour this into a spray bottle and the pour spout aligns with the handle so when I pop the top the actual lid is in the way.Great for cleaning up after elderly pets. Works great on old carpet.I've tried just about all of the enzymatic cleaners and this one works the best and costs less..and doesn't cause me to have asthma like the others ..I'd definitely recommend trying this cleaner before spending a bunch of money on the othersWorks great. Too bad we need the big-size jug.This stuff is like a magical product! Takes out pet stains almost instantly and gets rid of the odor better than anything I’ve ever used. Buy this stuff!It works well for cleaning messes. Unfortunately it does not stop our dog from marking. But he's a Chihuahua, so he's a lost cause. If you don't have one of these little demons, it might work for that.We tried this product a few times when our dog decided to mark his territory, i.e. our carpets. It didn't seem to work very well - the odour went away but the stain remained, even after working hard with cold water and a cloth before spraying on the solution. Then we read the instructions! When it says soak the area, it means soak it. Even more importantly, the solution MUST be left to dry of its own accord: don't mop up with kitchen towel, etc. It may take a few days to dry, but once it has dried you will find the stain has gone. Just trust it to do its job - after all, it is GUARANTEED to work.Buying a big bottle has proved cost-effetive. We transfer the solution to a smaller bottle with a spray nozzle on the top and spray it on. Not sure I would want to pour on straight from the bottle provided.Before using Simple Solution we tried a well-known ammonia-based carpet cleaner, which left the house smelling of ammonia for hours and didn't touch the stain. When we spoke to our vet, she warned us that the ammonia will actually encourage a dog to mark the area, so it is likely to make the problem worse.This product is brilliant. I have been using it for a number of years now (since I discovered it)and recommend it to all the pet owners that I know. It really does do what it is supposed to do - and is the only product that I have found which actually gets rid of odours so much that my dog does not return to the same spot. I have used it for 3 different dogs now and have found it to be effective with all - especially at the puppy stage when they are weeing everywhere. I have also found it good for getting rid of other 'nasty' and difficult to remove odours - eg milk, vomit etc. I don't know how I managed before I discovered it!It does what it says on the tin and leaves a wonderful fresh smell. I don't have to worry about my dogs leaving unpleasant odours about the house or garden any more. Brilliant just brilliant.Great productI have tried a few of these products over the years, and did my research before trying this one. We have had rescue dogs for 25 years, and now, in out dottage, two doodle puppies, one of whom tends to get car sick. After he gets out of the car. into the house. On the carpet. Why, Lord, why????? Anyway, clean the majority with paper towel, spritz to soak, leave for a couple of minutes, and scrub with a warm damp rag. Done.
