I purchased this product S&Z TOPHAND 42 in. x 84 in. Barn Door with Handle Set and Floor Guide. We purchased 2 of these doors last weekend. We started the project at the begging of last week. When the boxes came we were not home to receive or we would of not accepted it. One of the two were damaged. We opened the box on Tuesday and found one of the LONG boards to be damaged and dented. I immediately sent a message to S&Z and they immediately sent out a replacement board, which we received on Thursday. They were fast. However the second board to be sent - was previously damaged and someone tired to put wood glue or putty on it... IT was only noticeable once we stained the board. I again immediately sent them a message on Friday morning and was told they will remind the shipping colleague, to send a new A board. I explained it should of been a new board anyway, RIGHT? I was told it would arrive by Saturday. As we had worked every evening this past week to stain the boards and prep them for assembly. THE board NEVER arrived - IF finally came today Monday around 3 pm. My husband ended up fixing and patching the one board that was originally sent to us in the first shipment. we h ave put the doors together and they have now been hung. I have to say many of the slats were warped - the wood was all a bit different in coloring and we mixed them up to give it a better look. I am hoping they don't warp anymore. I will come back and give a update after they have been up for a week. What a mess! The company tried their best to accommodate however I would have wished they would of sent a new board to begin with. I give it a 3 stars. But I will say the price point was there!* 1 star (Nope, DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL!): I would either return or throw away this product. It was a waste of my money and not functional. I will never order again.** 2 star (Think twice before buying - don't like it): I'm not a fan of this item and I won't order it again, but it has at least one positive quality.*** 3 star (It’s ok): This item has both positive and negative qualities. It may work for some people, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase or recommend it.**** 4 star (I like it): This item arrived and functions as advertised. I would change a few things about this (including pricing ), but is a good product overall. I would use this item.***** 5 star (I love it!): This item is AWESOME. I will use it and recommend it to others! I just LOVE it! Have a great day.Didn't get all the part.. had to go buy stuff , the bar that said would work with this door didn't fit at all .. door wasn't hard to put together. Just wish I didn't have to buy more thing to make it fit..I purchased knowing there was some assembly required. This was honestly not challenging to assemble with a power drill and a flat area to work on. We obviously painted it to match the header and rails that we purchased separately, also on Amazon. $300 Project all together and totally worth it.Bought two of these doors now and both had different pieces of wood that were warped. Now that I have this one together and painted, just noticed the holes for the handle are missing!!! ?This is a nice door for the price. I had an odd size door opening (38 x 75) and it's nice that the door comes in different widths but you should also have different lengths available too. I modified the length from 84" to 75" which took some doing but it came out pretty nice. It was well worth doing the modification as a local shop wanted 650 for my odd size and a local contractor could build one but was about the same 650 price. So for a third of the price and some work, I am very satisfied with the overall outcome. Thanks goes to loctite for their PL8 which will hold two pieces of wood together as strong as the original one piece!Use glue when assembling. The wood is nice and flat with no warps. The precut trim screw holes were a very nice touch. The style is absolutely fantastic, in my humble opinion.Screws would not fit door handle that came with the kit. Two of the angled boards were warped but I got new ones sent to me immediately with excellent customer service!Door is beautiful!
