I was looking for a small, thin fingerless glove and this fits the bill. This is not meant for warmth. I use this with every top with long sleeves that don't already have thumbholes. I like it because of how it looks and it does offer some protection from the elements. We all know that the hand ages before the rest of our body. The skin on my hand is also thin and tends to be dry because we wash it more often. These gloves are also useful for sun- protection, and while this is not UV rated, it is still better than nothing (wear it on top of your sunblock/sunscreen). It is somewhere between wearing full gloves and wearing nothing. If you need to wash your hand you just have to tuck your thumbs in and pull them up your forearms, so it is not in the way.I will probably buy more just because - like socks - they do go missing in the laundry.
